Tom Brady is many things. He's a legend of the game, the greatest to ever play in the NFL. He's a competitor, a student of the game. But behind the seemingly robotic facade, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback also has a softer side to him.

After the Bucs thoroughly dismantled the Chicago Bears at home, Brady noticed a kid holding up a sign saying “Tom Brady helped me beat cancer.” Seeing this, Brady walked over to the kid and handed him his hat. (via The Athletic)

The kid was obviously overjoyed, as he likely looked up to Brady in his quest to beat cancer. What a wholesome moment from the Buccaneers legend.

Brady has had his fair share of haters over the years due to his excellence, but it seems even the biggest haters of the Buccaneers quarterback can't hate on this nice gesture.

It might've been a wholesome and sweet moment, but Brady's decimation of the Bears was the complete opposite. Brady completed 20 of 36 passes for 211 yards gained. The Bucs also scored four touchdowns off of Brady's passes, three of which were caught by wide receiver Mike Evans. The Buccaneers' defense also wrecked the Bears' offensive line, forcing rookie quarterback Justin Fields into three interceptions.

The Buccaneers have been rolling in their quest to defend their Super Bowl trophy. Despite missing tight end Rob Gronkowski for a majority of the season due to a dangerous injury, they've been systematic in their handling of their opponents. However, even the near-robotic Tom Brady can also set a little time aside for special fans, further endearing him with the Tampa Bay fanbase.
