When he signed an extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, quarterback Tom Brady made the team’s goal clear in an Instagram post. As he pursues an eighth Super Bowl, he wants the Buccaneers to bring back the key players in their title run.

Just days after signing his extension and the team has done just that. The Buccaneers have played the franchise tag on wide receiver Chris Godwin, re-signed linebacker Lavonte David, and just re-signed outside linebacker Shaq Barrett to a four-year, $72 million deal, fulfilling Brady’s goal of “keeping the band together.”

With their key players returning to Tampa Bay for another season, Brady made it clear that he was pleased with the team’s offseason moves, and reacted hilariously on Twitter by using a GIF from the 2001 comedy Zoolander.

The GIF features Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) excitedly telling fellow model Hansel (Owen Wilson) that they’re back. The seven-time Super Bowl champion must have felt the same excitement after finding out that the Buccaneers will have the key pieces they need for their title defense.

But for as good as Tampa Bay’s offseason has been, they are not done re-signing key players. The team has yet to announce new deals with tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Antonio Brown. But thanks to the structure of Brady’s extension, the Buccaneers should have enough flexibility to bring back two of his favorite targets from last season.

With most of his teammates from last season’s title run back for another season, it’s easy to see why Brady would react excitedly like the Zoolander and Hansel. Their return not only gives the team a strong chance of repeating as champions, it also ensures that his second season in Tampa Bay would be much better than the second Zoolander film.
