During a recent Weekends with Adele show, the “Skyfall” singer praised Sabrina Carpenter and her song “Espresso.”

“As I got into bed last night, because [it] was a very late night for me, I found myself singing ‘I'm working late, cus I'm a singer,' that Sabrina Carpenter song — that song is my jam!” Adele praised. “It came out when I couldn't f**king talk. It came out when I couldn't talk or sing.”

She then added that now that she can talk and sing, she's been singing it repeatedly. Adele then joked, “Let me actually get on to some f**king singing on that note.”

The X account Pop Base posted the quote of Adele's praise for Carpenter. She weighed in on the matter with her takeaway.

“All I read was Adele thinks about me in bed <3,” Carpenter replied in a quote post. Game respects game.

Adele is currently playing the last slew of dates of her Weekends with Adele Las Vegas residency. The residency will conclude with the singer's one-hundredth show. She has 18 dates left of the residency.
