The Boston Celtics knocked off the Indiana Pacers in Game Two and now the Celtics' victory seems like a formality. Unless the Pacers can do something to stop the bleeding, it appears as if Joe Mazzulla's crew is on its way back to the NBA Finals and Jaylen Brown is a big reason why after a 40 point effort in Game Two.

Recently, Brown got a wild endorsement from noteworthy NBA broadcaster Kendrick Perkins. Brown's running mate Jayson Tatum got a shout-out from a well known player in the women's game.

On Friday, the sportsbook BetMGM shared the latest odds on Eastern Conference Finals MVP, and Brown's stock has perhaps never been higher.

Brown was given the best odds among all Celtics to win Eastern Conference Finals MVP by BetMGM, a signal that the former California Golden Bears star may be maturing into an even more clutch and determined player. Brown's odds to win Eastern Conference Finals MVP now stand at -125 compared to +110 for Jayson Tatum followed by +1400 for Jrue Holiday. Pascal Siakim has the best odds among Pacers players with +6,600 odds.

Brown led all Celtics players with 40 points in the team's 126-110 win over the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, nearly doubling Derrick White and Jason Tatum's totals of 23 points each.

Eastern Conference Finals shifts to Indiana for Game Three

With two games in the books, the Pacers vs. Celtics series will shift to Indiana for Game Three at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

The Pacers are not expected to win this series but they will have the home crowd behind them in one of the most basketball-crazed states in the country. With Siakim and Tyrese Haliburton leading the way for Indiana, stopping Indiana's multi-faceted offensive attack will be a tall task for Brown and the Celtics, especially on the road where Indiana dominated the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Celtics have the size and athleticism to match the Pacers at every turn, which has made them the betting favorite to win the series, and the NBA championship, at this juncture of the playoffs.
