Head coach Anthony Lynn and his Los Angeles Chargers fell to 2-5 on the season as a result of Sunday afternoon's loss to the Tennessee Titans. Despite the fact that Titans head coach Mike Vrabel attempted to gift Lynn's Chargers a win in Week 7, Los Angeles was unable to secure the victory, losing 23-20 in the final seconds of regulation.

Chargers running back Melvin Gordon fumbled on the one-yard line with less than 20 seconds left in the game with the Titans recovering the football to close out the win.

Leading to the back-and-forth insanity on the goal line as time expired, the Titans were trying to solidify the team's third win of the season before the aforementioned Vrabel let the Chargers right back into the fold. With a three-point lead and possession of the football, the Titans elected to go for it on fourth and one around midfield and were unable to convert as Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill came up just short. Even though it seemed as though Tannehill got enough for the first down, Vrabel did not challenge the call and allowed Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers to promptly march down the field despite not having any timeouts.

With the Chargers quickly moving inside the one-yard line, Los Angeles then appeared to score the game-winning touchdown not once but twice with each phantom score being called back after a booth review. Gordon's late fumble was then ultimately the last straw for the discombobulated Chargers in the end.
