The Los Angeles Chargers hosted the Kansas City Chiefs Thursday night in a crucial divisional matchup. On the opening drive of the game, the Chargers faced a 4th and goal from the 5-yard-line. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert was looking for his tight end, Donald Parham Jr. in the back of the end zone. Parham Jr. was unable to hold on and appeared to lose consciousness on the field.

It was a very scary moment. Eventually, Parham Jr was seen moving his arms and legs. He was immobilized down on the field by team doctors and later carted off the field.

Donald Parham Jr. went undrafted. He is in his 2nd season with the Chargers and has 20 catches for 190 yards this season. Those numbers don't stand out but he has made his presence felt in the red zone with three receiving touchdowns.

Jared Cook will garner more snaps for the Chargers in Parham Jr's absence.

It was announced shortly afterwards that Parham Jr. left the stadium and is being taken to the hospital.
