The Denver Broncos made a massive move to acquire Russell Wilson as their new quarterback. With the AFC West completely loaded, the Los Angeles Chargers made a decision to go all-in on defense. Somehow, the front office pulled off a maneuver to acquire Khalil Mack from the Chicago Bears.

According to Adam Schefter, the Bears are sending Khalil Mack to the Chargers. Mack is a six-time Pro-Bowler who joins an LA defense with Joey Bosa. Los Angeles might just have the best pass rush in the league now, which makes sense considering they're facing Patrick Mahomes, Russell Wilson, and Derek Carr twice a year.

It sounds like LA didn't give up too much to trade for Khalil Mack. After sending a second-round pick in 2022 and a sixth-round pick in the 2023 draft, the Chargers walk away with one of the league's best pass rushers, per Ian Rapoport. This comes right after the Broncos' acquisition of Russell Wilson, making the AFC West the most loaded division in football.

As for the Bears, they stock up on draft picks to continue adding young talent to their current roster. Chicago is in the middle of a mini rebuild, which makes sense with Aaron Rodgers returning to the Green Bay Packers. At the end of the day, the Chargers are going all-in to beef up their defense while the Bears do the opposite.

It's hard to imagine any team having a fun time against the Chargers. With Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack rushing the passer, all we can say is good luck to LA's opponents. Look for this defense to make a massive leap in production as Los Angeles has two bonified superstars lined up on the edge.
