The Los Angeles Chargers appear to be in the market for a new quarterback, and Tom Brady could be an option. According to SportsBetting.ag, the Chargers have the second-best odds at 4/1 to land Brady if he leaves the New England Patriots.

Philip Rivers has been a staple for the Chargers since being drafted in the first round of the 2004 draft, but he is set to be a free agent this offseason and all signs point towards the Chargers moving in a different direction.

If Rivers is gone, the biggest question is who will be under center next year? Tyrod Taylor was Rivers backup during the 2019 season and is still under contract for the 2020 season.

The Chargers also own the sixth overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and there are a lot of rumblings the team could take a quarterback in that spot. How awesome would it be if the Chargers were able to draft Tua Tagovailoa or another quarterback, and let them sit for a year or two behind Tom Brady?

The team could also look for a quarterback in the second or third round, and it would make even more sense if the team goes that direction to have them sit behind Brady.

Bringing in Brady might also put more Chargers fans in the stands. Since moving to Los Angeles, they have had issues getting their fan base to show up to games, but Brady could change that.

Maybe he would be just the guy to create a buzz around the Chargers and kickstart the interest in their franchise again.
