Good news, Los Angeles Chargers fans: in spite of running back Melvin Gordon limping off of the field in the fourth quarter of the Chargers' win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday night, he is expected to play in the Wild Card Round against the Baltimore Ravens next week, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Not only that, but tight end Hunter Henry, who has missed the entire season with a torn ACL, is also expected to suit up for this game.

Gordon played in just 12 games this year overall, missing some time due to a sprained MCL. When he did take the field, however, he was incredibly effective, rushing for 885 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 5.1 yards per carry. In addition, he hauled in 50 receptions for 490 yards and four scores en route to his second Pro Bowl selection.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Wisconsin, was originally selected by the Chargers in the first round (15th pick overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft.

After a lackluster rookie campaign, Gordon proceeded to total 997 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground in 2016, also catching 41 passes for 419 yards and a couple of scorers, which led to his first trip to Honolulu.

He then rushed for 1,105 yards and eight touchdowns while snaring 58 balls for 476 yards and four scores last year.

Henry tore his ACL back in May. In 2017, he registered 45 receptions for 579 yards while reaching the end zone four times, becoming one of the top threats in the Bolts' aerial attack.

He was originally chosen by the Chargers in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
