The Los Angeles Chargers are set to take on the Tennessee Titans in Week 7 action in London in search of their fourth-straight win.

However, they will have to try to do it without the services of Pro Bowl running back Melvin Gordon, who has been ruled out due to a nagging hamstring injury, according to Ricky Henne of Chargers.com.

Gordon had been hampered by the injury in the last couple of days that saw him draw a limited designation for practice on Friday while he was also dealing with dehydration.

Gordon hadn't missed a game this season while playing at an elite through the first several weeks. He's proven to be a major factor on the field that has contributed greatly to the team's strong start. He has been a key feature in the offense in both the running and passing game that is proving that he's one of the game's best running backs.

Gordon is off to a strong start to the season. He's showing to be an even more effective dual option out of the backfield as he’s currently third in the league with 466 rushing yards and six rushing yards along with hauling in 30 receptions for 279 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

With Gordon gone, the Chargers will look to Austin Ekeler to fill in for him as he has shown to be a strong asset in the offense even with Gordon healthy in the lineup over the last couple of years.
