There were reports on Monday that the Los Angeles Chargers could relocate to London instead of Los Angeles. Just a day later, Dean Spanos, the Chargers' owner, denied the report and made sure to add some expletives in his response.

Of course, in 2017, the Chargers chose to join the Los Angeles Rams in the newly named SoFi Stadium in 2020. Despite their commitment to join the Rams, there have been doubts that the Chargers can hold up their end of the bargain with ticket sales.

Nearly a month ago, it was reported that the Chargers are expected to chip in $400 million of personal-seat licenses to join the Rams. Unfortunately, they were still $300 million short of that mark in October.

Due to their inability to pull their end of the weight, there have been rumors floating around that the Chargers could move elsewhere. However, Spanos seems to be adamant that moving elsewhere is not an option at all.

The NFL has held games in London for 13 straight years and they've made a concerted effort to take the game of football global. Therefore, if Spanos chose to do so, a move to London could definitely be in the cards.

Along with London, many people have considered St. Louis as a possible destination for an NFL team once again. Of course, the Rams were in St. Louis from 1995-2015 before making their way back to Los Angeles.

Regardless of the reports or rumors, the Chargers seem to be preparing themselves to be playing in their new stadium with the Rams next season.

It's safe to say that asking Spanos about a move to anywhere but Los Angeles right now is a touchy subject.
