The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a tough loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. Not only did they lose, but they also lost their first place seeding to the Tennessee Titans. It seems Chiefs coach Andy Reid is furious with the situation, as he's apparently shown some anger during the postgame interviews.

There were numerous reasons why the Chiefs lost, but Reid seemed tight-lipped regarding the 10 penalties his team ensued, per The Athletic's Nate Taylor. The Chiefs are usually a well-disciplined football team, so it was surprising to see them struggle in that area on Sunday.

The final minutes of the game were rather controversial. With multiple flags and a lack of timeout, the Bengals had numerous opportunities to score. However, the clock ran down due to what happened. According to Taylor, Reid believes Cincinnati wasn't scoring on purpose.

Reid wasn't mincing words after the Chiefs loss, as everybody in the room could feel his energy. Taylor added that this is the maddest he's seen Reid after a contest.

Even so, Kansas City is in line to make the postseason. What makes the loss so hard is the team lost the ultra-important first-place positioning for the playoffs. The top seed is the only team that earns a bye week and the Chiefs might have lost their chances on Sunday.

Keep an eye on the Chiefs, as they're in line to make another potential Super Bowl run. It'll be a tough task, as the AFC is stacked with star power. Look for Kansas City to bounce back in Week 18 against the Denver Broncos.
