Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in the NFL, and the Kansas City Chiefs seem to be prepared to pay him as such.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Chiefs are reportedly discussing what would be a record-setting deal for Hill.

Hill is coming off of a season in which he hauled in 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to his third straight Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection. He also notched a rushing touchdown and a kick return touchdown.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at tiny West Alabama, was originally selected by Kansas City in the fifth round (165th pick overall) of the 2016 NFL Draft.

He immediately flashed his potential during his rookie campaign, catching 61 passes for 593 yards and six scores while also punching in three rushing touchdowns. Not only that, but Hill amassed 592 kick return yards and a pair of return scores, making his first trip to Honolulu and landing First-Team All-Pro honors as a result.

The following year, Hill became more of a threat in the passing game, snaring 75 balls for 1,183 yards while reaching the end zone seven times. In addition, he took one kick return to the house. Once again, he made the Pro Bowl.

Obviously, Hill is one of the most versatile players in the NFL, so it's no surprise that the Chiefs want to lock him up long term.

Kansas City won 12 games and captured the AFC West division title this past season before falling to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game.
