In lieu of his trade to the Sixers, Boban Marjanovic decided to send out a thank you message to the Clippers organization and its fans.

Though he'll no longer be with the Clippers, the Serbian-born big man says Los Angeles will always be home.

“Thank you to the Clippers staff, front office, trainers, coaches, and FANS!” Marjanovic wrote in a tweet on Wednesday. “The city of Los Angeles embraced my family and I with warmth and kindness that was second to none, and have left me with great memories. Thank you all, LA will always be home.”

“Bobi,” as Marjanovic is affectionately known, was traded to the Sixers on Tuesday. As part of the deal, Philadelphia will also receive Tobias Harris, who's become one of Boban's closest friends. The fact that they were traded together (again) is a fitting touch. They were first traded together to the Clippers in January of 2018 as part of the deal that sent Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons.

Marjanovic and Harris are often seen hamming it up on the sidelines, but their friendship goes far beyond the hardwood. Tobias has taken Boban under his wing, so to speak, teaching him the ins and outs of living in America.

In September, the two players introduced “The Bobi + Tobi Show.”

In an era where players can be separated at the drop of a hat, it's nice to see that these two friends will be staying together. Now, alongside Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid, the Sixers will be a formidable opponent.
