The Los Angeles Clippers have come storming back from their 0-2 deficit against the Utah Jazz. But it looks like Kawhi Leonard might not be there to help them complete the comeback.

The Clippers star's knee injury is expected to knock him out of Game 5, and potentially even the rest of the series, as reported by ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Windhorst continued:

Leonard told teammates last night to prepare for him to be out. He landed awkwardly on a drive in the fourth quarter and grimaced in pain Monday night. He briefly stayed in game but didn’t finish as the Clippers secured the win to even series 2-2.

What a stunning turn of events. First, Phoenix Suns All-Star point guard Chris Paul could potentially miss the start of the Western Conference Finals after being forced to enter Health and Safety protocols. Now the Clippers might lose their own star player as they try to keep pace with the West's top seed.

The Clippers looked to be in the driver's seat against Utah, taking firm control of Games 3 and 4 after some sound defensive adjustments. For all the talent on both sides, Kawhi Leonard was still clearly the best player in the series, and it showed.

Stay tuned for more updates on Kawhi Leonard's status for the Clippers.
