The Los Angeles Clippers got off to a hot start against the Washington Wizards, scoring 82 points in the first half en route to a 150-125 win.

In the process, the Clips tied their franchise record for second-most points scored in a first half and in a single game. They fell just two points behind their team record for most points scored in a game.

The Clippers' highest scoring game was a 152-point explosion in a win over the Toronto Raptors in 1998. The team scored 39 points each in three quarters of the game to accomplish the feat.

On Sunday, Kawhi Leonard and Paul George led the way to their record-setting display. Leonard registered 34 points, six rebounds and three assists on 66.7 percent shooting to pace the Clippers, while PG13 added 31 points and eight boards.

Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, on the other hand, combined for 45 markers.

Washington had no answer to the duo  as they trailed by as much as 32 points in the contest. Rookie Rui Hachimura had a big game with 30 points, nine rebounds and three assists while Bradley Beal had a solid 23-5-11-2 line; however, they were the only Wizards players to score more than 20 points.

The Clippers improve to 15-6 in the NBA, good for third in the Western Conference.
