It looks like Los Angeles Clippers guard Rajon Rondo is more than ready for the playoffs.

With three games remaining after Tuesday's contest, Rondo showed everyone that he is ready to switch on the legendary ā€œPlayoff Rondoā€ā€“ a mythical unicorn only seen in the most intense and grueling stretch of the NBA season. Against the Toronto Raptors, the former Los Angeles Lakers guard pulled off a nifty behind-the-back dime to Ivica Zubac for the easy slam.

What's more amazing about the brilliant assist was that Rondo did it to not one but two Raptors defenders, who were completely fooled by the Clippers guard's wizardry.

With Dennis Schroder on health and safety protocols and the Lakers likely going to the play-in tournament to qualify for the playoffs, the Purple and Gold must be regretting their decision to let Rajon Rondo walk away. They could have certainly used him and benefited from his veteran experience. It could have been Anthony Davis on the receiving end of the thing of beauty for a rim-rocking slam.

Fortunately for the Clippers, they were able to snag Rondo from the Atlanta Hawks at the trade deadline. Now, it seems like they will be inn for a treat that is ā€œPlayoff Rondo.ā€

The Clippers are currently third in the West, and if things remain as it is today, they would be playing the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round.
