Carson Wentz's newly found aversion to turnovers was absent today. He threw two brutal interceptions in the Indianapolis Colts' 34-31 overtime loss to the Tennessee Titans after throwing just one pick in the first seven games of this season.

Wentz threw two picks and fumbled once while throwing for 231 yards, completing 27 of his 51 passes and recording three touchdown passes. His 4th-quarter pick brought back memories of when he was one of the worst quarterbacks in the league last season.

As he was being tackled in his own endzone, he tossed up a duck that Titans cornerback Elijah Molden caught and scored on instantly. Luckily for Wentz, he was able to put another score on the board to force overtime.

In overtime, Wentz threw another interception in his own territory, this time to safety Kevin Byard, which set up Tennessee kicker Randy Bullock's game-winning field goal. After the loss, which put Indianapolis' record at 3-5 on the season, Wentz said that his costly turnovers were the reason for Indianapolis losing the game.

Although Wentz still isn't the MVP-caliber player he once was, he has been a fine field general for the Colts this season. Entering Week 8, he posted the lowest interception percentage in the NFL, ranked 10th in passer rating and ranked 15th in touchdown passes. He'll have the chance to redeem himself on Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets.
