Teams around the NFL have had to resort to holding meetings via video streaming services amid the coronavirus pandemic. While some teams aren't tech-savvy, Frank Reich, the head coach of the Indianapolis Colts wants his coaches to get acclimated with it to get an edge:

“That’s the thing about this technology — you’ve got to use it [and] you’ve got to be good at it,” Reich said via ProFootballTalk. “That’s what I’ve said to the staff, ‘Guys, hey you’ve got to become experts at this stuff. You need to learn every little nuance of it and find every creative way to help guys get better.'”

For the most part, teams tend to do their teaching in drills or during workouts. However, with teams prohibited from using their facilities, they are inclined to use other resources to speak to their players and coaching staff.

Reich, who calls the plays on offense, is always looking for ways to get a leg up on an opposing team. Even during these unforeseen circumstances, Reich is configuring ways to turn this situation into a positive for the Colts.

The Colts are coming off of a season where they failed to make the playoffs after going 5-2 in their first seven games. Following their disappointing season, Indianapolis has made quite a few changes to the roster. Most notably, the Colts decided to make Philip Rivers their next starting quarterback.

With the coronavirus affecting the NFL, teams are limited in what they can do this offseason. However, Reich is going to make sure the Colts benefit from this downtime by getting better with technology.
