The Indianapolis Colts are set to receive a major boost to their offense in Week 6. Star wideout T.Y. Hilton, who just returned to practice this week after recovering from neck surgery, has officially been activated off the IR and will be available on Sunday:

The Colts desperately need him back, with the team getting off to a 1-4 start. Quarterback Carson Wentz knows just how important Hilton is, on and off the field. Via Colts.com:

“Everybody knows what kind of player he is on the field, but even more so in the locker room and who he is as a leader,” Wentz said. “Guys really rally around him.”

Hilton didn't get a chance to practice a ton this week ahead of the Texans game, but Colts head coach Frank Reich doesn't sound too concerned about how much he'll be able to play:

“He's taken good care of himself,” Reich said. “He works hard, I mean that guy works hard. He's in shape, he stays in shape. He does everything possible to help this team. I feel good about where he's at.”

Hilton is closing in on a Colts milestone as well. The wide receiver is just 640 yards off the 10,000 mark, which would make him the third player in franchise history to hit that feat alongside Marvin Harrison and Reggie Wayne.

Hilton had 56 receptions for 762 yards in 2020 while also catching five touchdowns. Hopefully, he can make an immediate impact for Indianapolis.
