T.Y. Hilton is getting adjusted to his new quarterback in Philip Rivers and the veteran wideout of the Indianapolis Colts has nothing but praise for Rivers.

While he enters a pivotal year in his career, Hilton believes the sky is the limit for him and Rivers (via Colts Wire).

“We had a couple throwing sessions where we felt out one another. Right now, we’re just working hand in hand. He likes throwing to soft spots and I like finding the soft spots. In reality, we’re kind of like a perfect match,” Hilton said of Rivers. “As long as he continues to do that, find the soft spots in the defense and he’s able to get it to me, get it into my hands and let me work, the sky is the limit for us.”

Entering the 2020 season, Hilton is going to be catching passes from his third different Colts quarterback since 2018. Before Rivers, Hilton had plenty of memorable games with Andrew Luck from 2012-18. He also had a chance to be the No. 1 target for Jacoby Brissett last season.

Despite Hilton and Rivers not having a full offseason to work together, the transition has been seamless so far. The four-time Pro Bowler is looking to bounce back in 2020 after being limited to a career-low 45 receptions for 501 yards and five touchdowns in 2019.

On the other hand, Rivers is hoping to rebound from a dismal season with the Los Angeles Chargers where he had 23 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. Even though both of them are free agents next offseason, Hilton and Rivers are confident of where their chemistry currently is ahead of Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season for the Colts.
