As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for their Week 5 matchup with the Houston Texans, there is one player who is unexpected to be able to participate for the Cowboys. Sean Lee has been sidelined by a hamstring injury and is expected to miss a couple weeks due to the injury.

According to a new report by DallasCowboys.com, Lee is not expected to play this week. Jerry Jones talked about the injury and stated that he would be surprised if his star linebacker can play.

“I don't want to be one way or the other or be too speculative about one week out, but it would surprise me to see Sean back this week.”

Lee is the leader of the Cowboys' defense and will be needed back on the field as soon as possible. Hamstring injuries are nothing to mess with, however, and the Cowboys need to make sure that they do not rush him back.

Injuries have been a major problem for Lee throughout his entire career. He has missed time due to injuries in more seasons than he hasn't and this year appears to be nothing different.

In the three games that Lee has played with the Cowboys this season, Lee has recorded 20 tackles to go along with 0.5 sacks and a defended pass. Lee is one of the most underrated players in the entire NFL and his numbers have proved that each and every year.

More than likely, Lee will miss this week's game against the Texans. There is even a chance that he could be forced to miss the week after that against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

All of that being said, Lee is a hard worker and he will be attacking his rehab process as hard as possible trying to get back on the field for his team.
