With the regular season rapidly approaching, the Dallas Cowboys are pondering what moves to make, or not make before Week 1.

According to Peter King and his “Monday Morning Quarterback” article, the Cowboys could field trade calls and entertain the idea of moving linebacker Jaylon Smith.

And Cleveland would be a third team where you can find a linebacker. Mack Wilson, who’s been up and down, is a name the Browns have taken calls on. The Rams (Micah Kiser) and Cowboys (Jaylon Smith) are two other teams that could deal a linebacker.

Smith has been leapfrogged by first-round pick Micah Parsons and Keanu Neal, who has made the transition from safety. It's left Smith on the outside looking in for the Cowboys at the linebacker position. Despite this, Smith seems to be taking it in stride noting via ESPN, that everyone has critics.

“I mean, I don't care who you are, you're going to have criticism,” Smith said. “Michael Jordan had criticism. LeBron James, some of the best players in the world have criticism. That's just a part of the game. But you got to control what you can control. And for me, it's just focused on my development and becoming a better player.”

As the Cowboys look stacked at the linebacker position, it has made Smith more expendable for them and multiple teams could use an upgrade at the position. While Smith would start for a ton of teams, it doesn't appear that will be the case in Dallas.
