The Tennessee Titans cut tight end Delanie Walker on Friday, ending a pretty impressive seven-year run with the club.

Of course, injuries limited Walker to just eight games total over the last couple of seasons, and at 35 years old going on 36, it remains to be seen how much he has left in the tank.

But perhaps his reputation will precede his age.

Here are three teams who could potentially sign Delanie Walker this offseason:

3. Chicago Bears

The Trey Burton experiment has not exactly worked out in Chicago, meaning the Bears will almost certainly be in the market for a tight end this offseason.

Ideally, Chicago would like to bring in someone who has some years ahead of them, but in the event that the Bears would prefer a cheaper option, Walker will be available.

Chicago simply needs weapons in general. Outside of Allen Robinson, the Bears don't really have a single consistent weapon in their offensive arsenal, and giving Mitchell Trubisky a security blanket like Walker could pay dividends.

Obviously, this is assuming that Delanie Walker stays healthy. If he does, he could end up being a sneaky good pickup for Chicago.

2. New England Patriots

Like the Bears, the Patriots would certainly prefer someone younger, but also like the Bears, the Patriots are desperate for offensive talent in general.

We saw what happened with New England's tight ends this past year, as the Pats tried to roll with Matt LaCosse and Ben Watson and failed miserably.

The Patriots are also probably tired of going with injury-prone guys at the position, as Rob Gronkowski was constantly nicked up over the latter stages of his career.

But New England may not have much of a choice if it also wants to sign a couple of wide receivers while also attempting to re-sign Tom Brady.

At the very least, Delanie Walker is proven, and when he is healthy, he has shown he can be one of the best tight ends in football. Whether or not he has that left in him is debatable, but the Pats can afford to take that risk.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jaguars are actually one of the more interesting teams in the NFL entering this offseason, and oddly enough, it's because of their offense rather than their defense.

With Gardner Minshew under center, Leonard Fournette in the backfield and an impressive young group of wide outs that includes DJ Chark, Dede Westbrook and Chris Conley, Jacksonville has some pretty strong offensive potential.

However, the Jags have a pretty obvious hole at tight end.

Walker seems like a natural fit here. The Jaguars are very young overall, so if any team can take a chance on an aging veteran, it's them. Plus, Delanie Walker would serve as a steady locker room presence, especially if Jacksonville ends up pushing for a playoff spot next season.

The Jags are very limited in terms of cap room, so top-tier tight ends like Austin Hooper and Eric Ebron are probably out of the question. As a result, they may have to settle for someone like Walker on an inexpensive one-year deal, and that wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.
