The Denver Broncos are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Denver has looked good so far, as they currently have a 3-1 record on the season. After suffering their first loss in Week 4, they hope to bounce back against Pittsburgh. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a Broncos Week 5 prediction.

Their defense can be credited for the team's success, as they've been stellar throughout their first four games. The Broncos have one of the best secondaries in the league and the front seven is no joke. With the Steelers' offense struggling as of late, we should see the Broncos' defense live up to expectations.

Although they've suffered from some serious injuries the Broncos still have solid talent on the offense. The passing game could be on full display on Sunday, with Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant being the main beneficiaries. Additionally, now could be the time Javonte Williams takes over while Teddy Bridgewater bounces back from a concussion. With that said, here are four bold Broncos Week 5 predictions versus the Steelers.

Broncos Week 5 Predictions

4. Broncos' defense shuts down the Steelers offense

They can stuff the run, defend the pass, and attack the quarterback. This is a complete mismatch whenever the Steelers have the ball. Ben Roethlisberger is as mobile as a tree these days, which means Denver's pass rush will likely be aggressive. Pittsburgh's offensive line has nearly no chance of keeping the Broncos' defense out of the backfield.

3. Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant combine for 200+ receiving yards and 3 touchdowns

Although Denver is without Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, they still have incredible pass options in Courtland Sutton and Noah Fant. The Steelers still have a great defense, but the Broncos have the pieces to take control of this matchup.

Between the two, Fant has been the most consistent. If Denver hopes to take the next step and be seen as a true contender, they have to get Sutton more involved. Look for the Broncos to open up the playbook against Pittsburgh.

2. Javonte Williams finally has a breakout game

He's shown flashes so far but hasn't quite taken off just yet. It's just a matter of time before Javonte Williams becomes the workhorse running back in Denver. The Broncos have a well-balanced approach to the run game right now. If Williams can erupt for 100+ yards and a touchdown, the coaching staff may consider giving him the rock more often.

1. Teddy Bridgewater comes back and leads the Broncos to a win

After exiting early against the Baltimore Ravens, it was abundantly clear the Broncos' offense runs better with Teddy Bridgewater under center. He's on pace to come back from the concussion which bodes well for Denver's chances on Sunday.

He has a solid offensive line protecting him, a great receiving core, and a running back duo that provides consistency for the offense. A healthy Teddy Bridgewater gives his team the best chances of winning. It's a tough matchup for Denver, as the Steelers will do everything in their power to pressure Bridgewater. Even so, this offense should be rolling on all cylinders come game time.
