The gelling process has started for the New York Knicks, as newly-acquired Derrick Rose recently met with Carmelo Anthony.

The four-time Olympian's wife, LaLa, posted a photo of the duo on Friday night via Twitter.

The Knicks have a chance to make a splash in the Eastern Conference, as Rose was shortly joined by former Bulls teammate Joakim Noah, who signed a four-year, $72 million deal with the team.

The additions of Courtney Lee and Brandon Jennings should provide solid perimeter defense and a potent scoring punch off the bench.

While Rose isn't expected to carry the offensive load like he once did in Chicago, his explosiveness and ability to get into the paint will be key to New York's success.
