The 24-year-old pass-rusher met Prescott in open field as the two-time Pro-Bowl signal-caller rushed right looking for space and an open receiver. Instead, Prescott hit the ground due to his ex-teammate in Charlton.
The Cowboys waived Taco last week and was promptly claimed by the Dolphins, searching for replacement players considering their own roster has reportedly requested trades, including second-year defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick, who was sent to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a first-round pick.
Dallas selected the Michigan product Charlton with a first-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. After finding no suitable trade partners, America’s Team outright waived the defensive player.
Charlton recorded four sacks for the Cowboys in his first two professional seasons.
