Donald Trump is not really letting people stick to sports. While he's most famously in the sports-related news for calling LaVar Ball ungrateful for not being thankful enough, he's also had time to chime in on Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch.

On Sunday, Marshawn Lynch sat during the national anthem prior to the Raiders playing the New England Patriots in Mexico. Donald Trump was not too pleased.

Per 45 law, the Donald took to the mean streets of Twitter to voice his dismay.

“Marshawn Lynch of the NFL’s Oakland Raiders stands for the Mexican Anthem and sits down to boos for our National Anthem. Great disrespect! Next time NFL should suspend him for remainder of season. Attendance and ratings way down,” Trump wrote.

What in the heck does “great disrespect” mean?

Without delving too deep into politics, Trump has a habit of going after the National Football League this season over the protests. While the players aren't protesting the flag or the troops — in the same way people on a hunger strike aren't protesting food — none of that apparently matters to the leader of the free world.

There's a lot of scandal currently happening around the President. Many assume that is why he is all of sudden going after a ton of popular and/or polarizing sports figures. It provides a more digestible issue for the media to talk about, while avoiding some other complex issues.

Anyway, something tells me Marshawn Lynch doesn't exactly care what the President believes. Also, it is unlikely the NFL will suspend him.
