UFC Vegas 93: Alex Perez vs. Tatsuro Taira continues on the main card with a fight in the bantamweight division between Douglas Silva de Andrade and Miles Johns. Andrade is coming off of a unanimous decision in his last fight and has now won 3 out of his last 4 fights meanwhile, Johns has won each of his last 3 fights with one of those 3 fights being overturned due to a failed drug test. With that said, check out our UFC odds series for our Andrade-Johns prediction and pick.

Douglas Silva de Andrade (29-5) is coming off a highly questionable decision victory against Cody Stamann in his last fight. Many believed that Stamann did enough to get the nod on the judge's scorecards but Andrade got the unanimous decision victory. Now, with wins in 3 out of his last 4 fights, Andrade will be looking to continue his momentum when he takes on Miles Johns this weekend at UFC Vegas 93.

Miles Johns (14-2)  has been streaking as of late winning each of his last three fights looking like a brand new fighter. He most recently dominated Cody Gibson for all three rounds winning via unanimous decision. Now, Johns will be looking to keep the good times rolling when he takes on the dangerous Douglas Silva de Andrade this weekend at the UFC Apex.

Why Doulas Silva de Andrade Will Win

Douglas Silva de Andrade is a longtime veteran of the UFC's bantamweight division who has always been one of the tougher fights win or lose. His losses have only been to elite competition like Said Nurmagomedov, Lerone Murphy, and Petr Yan. If someone beats Andrade they are part of the upper echelon of the division. He is now 3-1 in his last four fights most recently getting the nod on the judge's scorecards against Cody Stamann his last time out and he will now be looking to keep his momentum going when he takes on Miles Johns this weekend at UFC Vegas 93.

Andrade is as well-rounded as they come with the ability to knock out his opponents or take them down and beat them there. However, his gameplan is always to slug it out on the feet as we can see with his 20 knockouts on his resume. In the past, we've seen Miles Johns get clipped and finished which bodes well for Andrade in this matchup. As long as Andrade's durability holds up as it has in the past he certainly can be the one landing the heavier strikes in this matchup as he pushes the pace potentially getting Johns out of there and extending his winning streak to two wins in a row.

Why Miles Johns Will Win

Miles Johns has been looking like a brand-new fighter. Ever since he suffered that loss to John Castaneda, Johns has rattled off three straight victories, and his most recent victory against Cody Gibson was his best performance yet. Johns will be looking for the best version of himself when he takes on the dangerous Douglas de Andrade this weekend at UFC Vegas 93.

Johns has been working on becoming a more well-rounded fighter and it showed in his most recent victory against Cody Gibson. His takedown defense looked incredible against a tricky grappler and his striking was dangerous picking apart Gibson on the feet with relative ease. Johns does his best work on the feet when he's utilizing his speed and movement along with his crisp combinations to keep the fight at his preferred range. Going against a dangerous knockout artist like Andrade he's going to need his speed to steer clear of the power strikes of Andrade. If Johns can avoid the power of Andrade and use his speed and movement on the feet he will be too fast for Andrade as he picks him apart to a decision victory.

Final Doulas Silva de Andrade-Miles Johns Prediction & Pick

This fight is going to be an absolute barnburner at the UFC Apex. These two bantamweights are coming to throw down and that's exactly what they are going to do this weekend. While Andrade is as dangerous as they come his age is starting to creep up on him at age 38 as he looked like a shell of his former self against Cody Stamann who almost finished him in that fight. Meanwhile, Johns is on the come-up and has looked the best he's ever had. Ultimately, this is going to be a back-and-forth fight early on but as the fight progresses the pace will get to Andrade and either Johns can find a finish midway through this fight or Johns can come away with the decision victory.
