Philadelphia Eagles star wide receiver AJ Brown will play in the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday afternoon, he confirmed on Wednesday.

“I'm good to go,” he said, according to Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane.

Brown tweaked his left hip in Saturday's 38-7 win over the New York Giants in the divisional round, but told the Eagles training and coaching staffs that he'll be fine moving forwards, per McLane.

Brown was quiet in the Eagles' blowout of the Giants over the weekend, bringing in three catches on six targets for just 22 yards. He turned in a surprisingly middling showing in a game where the Eagles offense was firing on all cylinders.

The 25-year-old Mississippi native was afforded some rest late in the contest after the Eagles raced out to a 28-0 halftime lead; he played 51 of 69 snaps on offense on the night.

Giants cornerback Adoree' Jackson can be given some credit for doing a good job limiting Brown, but Devonta Smith and Dallas Goedert were able to take advantage.

Smith led the team in targets and receiving, compiling six catches on ten targets for 61 yards and a touchdown. Goedert caught all five of his targets for 58 yards and a spectacular touchdown grab of his own in the win.

Brown finished the regular season as PFF's top-graded pass-catcher against man coverage, a defensive alignment the Giants used at the highest rate in the league this season.

It's likely that AJ Brown's disappointing performance was due to the hip ailment, but the Eagles will need more from him against a phenomenal 49ers defense on Sunday if they hope to advance to their second Super Bowl in six seasons.
