Ever since the Philadelphia Eagles lost star quarterback Carson Wentz back in Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams, many people have continuously doubted the Eagles as a threat in the NFC despite their ability to still lock up the No. 1 overall seed in the conference.

Current Eagles starting quarterback Nick Foles was at the helm of Philly's gritty 15-10 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Saturday in the divisional round, which was also the first time during the Super Bowl era that a No. 1 seed was considered the underdog to bettors against a No. 6 seed.

What is Foles' message to people who doubt him and the Eagles as a team? Frankly, he doesn't really care what anyone thinks outside of the Philly locker room, and he explains why.

Per Nick Fierro of The Morning Call:

“Because it doesn’t matter,” Foles said of his doubters during Saturday night's postgame press conference. “They are doing their job, but it doesn’t affect how I play or what I believe. And y’all asked me last week, ‘Am I confident in myself?’ Well, I am confident in myself because I know how hard we work and I know that we believe in one another in that locker room.”

Foles also said that actions spoke much louder than words on Saturday night against the Falcons, as the Eagles played great team football to get the win.

“So there is no need to waste my time to say anything about it because we went out there and played great team football. We played Philadelphia Eagle football tonight, and that’s the most important thing. I don’t need to say anything else to anyone,” Foles added.

It wasn't the prettiest victory for the Eagles on offense, but they'll definitely take it as the Philly defense was outstanding against a high-powered Falcons offense. On the night, Foles threw for 246 yards on 23-of-30 passes completed and did not commit a single turnover.

The Eagles will host the Minnesota Vikings in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.
