Former NBA swingman Stephen Jackson is coming to the aid of Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson over his controversial, anti-semitic Instagram post.

The wide receiver immediately received a ton of backlash after his post, which the Eagles have since addressed with a strong statement. However, Jackson isn't too pleased with all the hate the NFL star has received.

In the one-minute rant posted on Instagram (which has since been deleted), Stephen Jackson called out the Eagles for their strong dissent towards their wide receiver's statement.

“He’s speaking the truth,” Jackson explained. “You know he don’t hate nobody. But he’s speaking the truth of the facts that he knows, and trying to educate others. But y’all don’t want us to educate ourselves. If this was talking about the black race, y’all ain’t saying nothing about it.”

Jackson blasted the Eagles for being so quick to condemn Jackson's statements, which has been tagged as anti-semitic, while being rather neutral to issues with regards to racism. Jackson even alluded to an incident in 2013 when a former Philly player was filmed publicly saying the word “n—-r,” which he said the team didn't do anything about.

The said player was former wide receiver Riley Cooper, who was fined an undisclosed amount by the team. However, he was still allowed to play for the Eagles after the incident.

DeSean Jackson has since deleted the series of posts and has issued an apology for his “insensitive and ill-informed posts.” It remains to be seen if the Eagles will be disciplining the three-time Bowler.

For what it's worth, both Jacksons have been  quite vocal in the recent Black Lives Matter movement that has captured the entire world.
