Sir Lewis Hamilton is the richest UK celebrity in the 2024 The Sunday Times Richest 40 Under 40.
The 39-year-old Formula 1 superstar is number nine on the list and squeaked into the last spot on the full Rich List. Hamilton has been earning over £40 million per year as a racer, and an additional £10 million from his endorsements with Bose, Electronic Arts, Monster Energy, Tommy Hilfiger and Puma. With his joining Ferrari for the 2025 season, rumors suggest that his new contract could be worth £358 million ($446 million).

At number 10 is Ed Sheeran with his estimated £340 million net worth. The 33-year-old four-time Grammy Award winner earned £62 million for the first half of his Mathematics tour. Sheeran has sold over 150 million records globally, which makes him one of the world's best-selling music artists. He has more than 100 million RIAA-certified units in the US, and his 2014 album x (Multipl) is number 20 of on the best-selling album in UK chart history.
Harry Styles is at number 17 with an estimated net worth of £175 million. The 30-year-old former One Direction singer's critically acclaimed third album, Harry's House, won Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year in last year's Grammy Awards. This album was also included in the 2023 revised edition of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. Styles is the first man to appear solo on the cover of Vogue.
One Tony away from an EGOT
At number 19 is Adele with an estimated £170 million net worth. The 36-year-old multi-Grammy Award (16) winning singer may have postponed her shows, part of her Las Vegas residency, due to ill health, but that hasn't stopped her from making bank. Two of her studio albums, 2011's 21 and 2015's 25, are numbers four and 11, respectively, on the list of the best-selling albums in UK chart history.
As of 2022, the singer is only a Tony away from being an EGOT. She received a Primetime Emmy Award in 2022 for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded) for Adele One Night Only, 16 Grammy Awards and an Oscar in 2013 for Best Original Song for Skyfall.
Dua Lipa is at number 29 with her £90 million estimated net worth. The 28-year-old singer made her acting debut is last year's blockbuster movie Barbie. She also had an Oscar-nominated song, Dance the Night, which charted number one. She also starred in this year's Argylle, opposite Henry Cavill. She also debuted her single Houdini at the Grammys, which reached number 2 on the UK singles chart.

Tied at number 29 is Daniel Radcliffe. The 34-year-old Harry Potter actor has been more active on Broadway, starring in Stephen Sondheim's musical Merrily We Roll Along last year. He is nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in that production. He was most recently seen in Miracle Workers and the documentary David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived.
Another Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, is at number 39, with her estimated net worth of £59 million. Most of the 34-year-old actress' fortune came from playing “the cleverest witch of her age” Hermione Granger. Her most recent movie is the 2019 Greta Gerwig feature Little Women. Watson just launched a gin distillery in Dorset, Renais.
Most of the people on the list made their fortune on their own, but nine were born into it. The top nine are also on the Rich List. The minimum net worth to enter the under 40 list is £56 million.
