In a new Snake Oil clip, Adam DeVine (Pitch Perfect) is pitched DIY caskets. But are they real or fake?
DIY caskets
A salesman pitches his DIY caskets on the latest episode of Snake Oil. As implied, customers will build their own caskets for when they eventually pass away.
The new clip, which can be seen below, DeVine begins with the important questions — how long it took the salesman to grow his beard. He then asks where the salesman is from, what kind of wood is “best,” and about his ROI.
Adam DeVine is widely associated with his role in Comedy Central's Workaholics, which he co-created. His big break in the film world came in the Pitch Perfect series. He plays Bumper in the films and even got to lead his own spin-off series, Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin. The series was recently canceled by Peacock.
Some of his other film credits include The Intern, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates, and Jexi.
Per FOX, the synopsis for tonight's Snake Oil episode reads: “Hosted by David Spade, contestants are pitched unique products by convincing entrepreneurs – some of whom are showcasing real business ventures, while the others are ‘Snake Oil Salesmen' whose products are fake. With the help of guest celebrity advisors, Adam DeVine and Darius Rucker, contestants must determine which products are real and which are a sham to advance to the ‘Snake Pit,' for a chance to win life-changing money.
