After the unfortunate shooting death of General Hospital star Johnny Wactor, his ex-fiancée, Tessa Farrell, released a gut-wrenching video.
TMZ reported the news about the video that features Farrell emotionally discussing Wactor's death and how it's “not okay” to have this happen. She pleads for a call to action to revamp laws in Los Angeles so criminals aren't back on the street soon after being busted.
Johnny Wactor's ex-fiancée, Tessa Farrell, speaks out
“This can't keep happening,” she says, crying. “So many lives are being lost, and just we're not being smart. We have to be smarter as a community. And guys, even if you're watching this, we have to stop being so mean to each other.”
Elaborating on being mean, she continued, “I saw some of the comments yesterday, and it's like, guys, let's love each other. Let's not steal.”
Regarding her ex-fiancée, who was fatally shot on Saturday in an attempt to stop thieves from messing with his car, she said, “Johnny's up above now looking down, and I'm so happy that I think he found happiness before he went. Because that was his dream in life — is to be happy.”
“And I think for all of you and all of the fans of the show and all the hard work that he did,” she continued. “All of its for friends. I mean the guy was so popular. I'm just so proud of the man he's become, and it's so sad that crime in L.A. had to do this, and I'm hoping that…we need some legislation to prevent this from happening. These criminals can't keep being on the street. And they can't keep being sent back and have no repercussions for their actions.”
She then addressed the person who did this to Wactor.

I know a job is hard, but we're all in it together. You don't have to steal. This guy was a rising star and such a bright soul to this world. We can't keep losing things like this because people are afraid to stand up and do what's right. And Johnny stood up and did what's right. All the time.”
“So let's be like Johnny and stand up until it's right,” Farrell concluded.
As of now, the suspects have not been apprehended. Details of the case show that it was unprovoked and happened as Johnny ended a bartending shift. From there, he approached his car, where three guys had it jacked up. As he approached, one of them fired a shot at him.
Police are looking for surveillance video and more leads to help solve this case.
Johnny Wactor was 37 years old.
