Absolutely no one would have expected Star Wars to become what it is now, especially those who caught the film when it was first released in 1977. Fast forward to now and we've got three trilogies, several animated series, tons of books, and a lot of projects headed our way. Of course, the nearest one is coming at the end of this month with Obi-Wan Kenobi premiering on Disney+. With it comes a rematch that has been decades in the making, as teased by the upcoming show's latest trailer.

The latest Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer starts off with a trio of Inquisitors, Force-sensitive individuals who are tasked to hunt Jedi, searching for any who have survived the Empire's purge. The scene then shifts to Joel Edgerton's Owen Lars telling Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan to stay away from Luke Skywalker. Kenobi pleads by saying that he needs to be trained when the time comes. Lars asks the former Jedi Master if he'll train him like the way he trained his father.

As the trailer progresses, fans will see robotic limbs being attached to a burnt body with Darth Vader breathing down in the end. A shot of Kenobi's worried face is focused on as the trailer ends.
This new Obi-Wan Kenobi trailer lines up with rumors that have been circulating the internet for the past few months. These rumors suggest that Hayden Christensen will suit up as the Dark Lord of the Sith and face off against his old master.
It remains to be seen how much of Darth Vader will be in the series or if their battle can even match the one they previously had in Revenge of the Sith. In any case, Obi-Wan Kenobi is shaping up to be a great entry into the Star Wars mythos, especially if the much-awaited battle between master and Padawan finally happens.
