It wouldn't be a comic book movie without a post-credits scene, and DC's latest, The Flash, is no exception. The Flash's post-credits scene sees Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) reunite with a fellow Justice League member for the first time since Zack Snyder's Justice League (a.k.a. The Snyder Cut).

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Flash

The Flash pits Barry on his own since he's stuck in another reality without a Justice League. Even then, there's no guarantee that they'd help him considering that in his normal reality, he's the “janitor” of the group. Batman (Ben Affleck) is doing his thing, but Diana/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) was ghosting the group until she decides to show up early on in the film, and Superman's handling other business. No one has heard from Cyborg (Ray Fisher) or, more importantly, Aquaman (Jason Momoa).

At one point in the film, Barry does attempt to track down each member by their real name, finding a Thomas Curry (Temeura Morrison) — the name of Aquaman/Arthur Curry's father — that lives in a lighthouse in Maine. But in this reality, Thomas is not married to a queen and thus Arthur is not in the picture.

In the post-credits scene of The Flash, however, we see Jason Momoa stumble out of a bar with Barry. It's clear that this is not the same superhero that we saw in Justice League or his own solo movie. Though this character doesn't reside in the ocean, he does fall into a little puddle and claim to belong there.

This post-credits scene does seem relatively inconsequential to the bigger picture of the DCU, especially since we don't know if Miler will return as the Flash anytime soon, but perhaps it's just a reminder that there is an Aquaman movie due at the end of this year.

The Flash is in theaters now.
