The Mole is back for season two on Netflix. Those psychological competition show premiered for the first time on Netflix in 2022. If the show at all sounds familiar, it's because the streamer has rebooted it from the original series that aired on ABC from 2001 to 2008.

What Is The Mole?

Netflix reintroduced The Mole in 2022, and for those unfamiliar with how the competition is run, let's bring you up to speed. Twelve players will get the chance to compete to win a collective cash prize, with the amount determining what the contestants can make via competitions. However, in their quest for the prize, there is a “mole” amongst them who is sabotaging their efforts.

According to the streamer, the contestants will work together each week to test their mental and physical endurance to add more cash to the prize.

When Does The Mole Season 2 Premiere?

The Mole season two premieres on June 28. Fans will get three batches of episodes on Netflix with the following dates:

  • Batch 1: June 28 (Episodes 1–5)
  • Batch 2: July 5 (Episodes 6–8)
  • Batch 3: July 12 (Episodes 9–10)

Who Is Hosting?

The Mole is hosted by NPR's Ari Shapiro. He is mostly known for his show All Things Considered.
