Floyd Mayweather has always been a supremely confident boxer. “Money” thinks he can beat both Logan Paul and Jake Paul in one night.
Mayweather and Logan faced off on Thursday in Miami to promote their exhibition bout on June 6. Paul was joined by his younger brother, Jake, as the two arrived to the event in a chopper.
The stylish entrance made very little difference to Mayweather. He said he would fight the Paul boys on the same night and called them “fake fighters,” per TMZ.
Paul should have his hands full at Hard Rock Stadium on June 6. The YouTuber-turned-boxer is going up against an undefeated, all-time great in Floyd Mayweather. The size difference might not matter much given the vast difference in skill.
Perhaps it's not even out of the question to suggest Floyd could fight both brothers in one night. He hardly gets touched in the ring, often exhibiting supreme conditioning, agility and his quickness. Mayweather can hide behind his jab and duck in and out of range while touching his opponents up with good efficiency.
Paul could say he's trained as hard as he possibly could for the bout and it likely still wouldn't be nearly enough against someone as technically sound as Mayweather. As for Jake, well, the same can be said. It's very possible he would merely gas out with Mayweather controlling the ring and staying away from the punching power.
The Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition bout is likely to draw its share of viewers. But it could just as easily be a total snooze fest.
