Amazon Games reached an agreement with Maverick Games to publish their new AAA open-world driving game. The upcoming title, which is releasing on Xbox Series X, PC, and PlayStation 5, will also be a narrative-led experience. While we don't know much about the game yet, we do know that Maverick Games was founded in 2022 by a team of people who worked on the Forza Horizon series.

Amazon Games Signs Publishing Deal With Maverick Games To Make Open World Narrative-Led Driving Game

Today, Amazon Games announced that it reached an agreement with developer Maverick Games to publish their upcoming AAA title. So far, we know the developers plan to launch the game for the latest generation of systems, including PS5, XSX, and PC. Furthermore, we know the game will be an open-world, narrative-led experience. Maverick Games, founded in 2022 by former Forza Horizon team members, plan to develop this game with no release date or window mentioned.

Mike Brown, studio head and creative director of Maverick Games, was the former creative director of the Forza Horizon franchise. Now, he'll get the chance to lead his team in creating a brand-new experience for players to enjoy. Amazon Games also gets to work with a team of dedicated and experienced developers to boost their gaming platform.

Amazon Games seeks to increase its gaming portfolio with new and exciting projects. Between the next major Tomb Raider game and a Lord of the Rings MMO, they have some things in the works that could be major hits.
