The EA Sports WRC Season 5 Release Date has arrived, with new improvements, moments, and 30 new items in the Rally Pass. Overall, this new season brings much expected content to keep fans of the game coming back for more. However, Season 5 did not launch with any Patch notes, though a recent update (which added VR support) did bring plenty of improvements. Without further ado, let's see everything new in EA Sports WRC Season 5.

EA Sports WRC Season 5 Release Date – June 4th, 2024

The EA Sports WRC Season 5 Release Date is Tuesday, June 4th, 2024. Overall, Season 5 adds new Moments along with a new Rally Pass to enjoy. Some of the new moments include:

  • Stay on Track (Spain)
  • Sunny Sunbeam (Spain)
  • The Right Tyres (Chile)
  • Battle of Attrition (Greece
  • Roulette (Monte Carlo)

Furthermore, all moments from Season 4 moved to the Archives Tab, which you can re-play at any time. And the new Season 5 moments will release between June 4th up until Season 5's end.

Along with new moments comes a brand new Rally Pass, with up to 30 total earnable items. 10 come free with the Pass, while the VIP Rally Pass offers 15. And, if you're an EA Play Member, you receive another five tiers of earnable rewards.

Free Members receive a free racing suit, gloves, and helmet, along with a new car livery and decals. EA Play Members can earn a new suit, helmet, gloves, and livery, as well as a new cap. Lastly, VIP Rally Pass Members receive:

  • 3 Racing Suits, Helmets, Caps, Gloves
  • 3 New Car Liveries.

So while you can pay for the VIP Rally Pass, just know that the rewards are purely cosmetic. So don't feel pressured, as it won't give you any game-breaking items or boosts.

EA Sports WRC Season 5 Patch Notes

As we mentioned, EA Sports WRC Season 5 does not come with any patch notes. Nevertheless, Codemasters did reveal that EA Anti-cheat was, in fact, coming to the game. In order to prevent cheating in WRC, Anti-cheat should make the experience more fair for PC players. Since anti-cheat only applies to the PC version, it will not be coming to the console versions of WRC.

Overall, that includes everything you need to know about the EA WRC Season 5 Release Date. All in all, it's a pretty small season in terms of content improvements, but that's to be expected at this point. The game released back in October of 2023, and Codemasters needs to focus on its newer titles, like F1 24.

We hope you enjoy all the new Rally Pass content Season 5 has to offer. And for those on PC with a VR headset, we hope you're enjoying WRC from behind the virtual wheel. There's plenty to enjoy in VR as WRC enters its newest season.
