Genshin Impact Version 2.6 – Zephyr of the Violet Garden
The Genshin Impact Version 2.6 Special Event livestream began with a trailer for the update. A preview of the upcoming Irodori Festival, the new character Kamisato Ayato, and new region Chasm were all previewed.
The trailer featured many Mondstadt and Liyue residents as they step into Inazuman soil – after the region has opened its gates once the Sakoku Decree was lifted. Characters such as Xingqiu, Sayu, Klee, and Albedo explore the wonders of Inazuma. Inazuman locals of course make an appearance too, with Kamisato Ayato being the highlighted character in the trailer.
New Character – Kamisato Ayato
The young but highly accomplished head of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan. Cultured and polite, he is a man of many ways and means.
Of course, Kamisato Ayato was the star of the show in today's Genshin Impact Special Event livestream. We were given a glimpse of his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst, along with the rest of his talents. If you wish to read more about Kamisato Ayato's details, check out our character profile.
Event Wish Preview
Kamisato Ayato's banner, Azure Excursion, and Venti's banner, Ballad in Goblets, will run alongside each other in the first phase of Genshin Impact Version 2.6. Meanwhile, the other Kamisato sibling Kamisato Ayaka will have her banner The Heron's Court run solo in the second half of the patch.
There is only one new weapon to be introduced in Genshin Impact 2.6, and it is the 5* Sword “Haran Geppaku Futsu,” meant to be used by Kamisato Ayato.
New Story Quest
Players will get to know Kamisato Ayato more through his Story Quest, Cypressus Custos Chapter. Cypressus Custos Chapter: Act I will also be available in Genshin Impact Version 2.6.
New Area – The Chasm
The Chasm, located at the westernmost side of Liyue, will open in Genshin Impact Version 2.6. It is Liyue's primary source of ores, and it consists of a disticnt violet-red area with an unfathomably deep space underground. Due to a series of mysterious accidents, The Chasm was closed and is now overrun by monsters, Treasure hoarders, and the Fatui. In it, the new boss Ruin Serpent can be found, as well as an unknown danger from the Abyss.
A gadget named the Lumenstone Adjuvant will be handed out to Travelers, and upgrading the Adjuvant will make exploration of the Chasm more efficient, while netting you a variety of rewards such as a 4 star Weapon Billet and an all-new namecard.
New Archon Quest
Dainsleif once again makes an appearance accompanying the Traveler in the new Archon Quest “Requiem of the Echoing Depths”. Along with it, the story of the Traveler Twins and Khaenri'ah will be uncovered. Explore the end of the Abyss, and see what lurks there.
New Artifact Domain and Artifact Sets
In The Chasm, a new Artifact Domain called The Lost Valley. Completing the Domain's challenge will reward players with artifacts from the two new artifact sets: Vermillion Hereafter and Echoes of an Offering.
2-Piece Set: ATK +18%
4-Piece Set: After using an Elemental Burst, the character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16 seconds. When the character's HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8 seconds. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.
2-Piece Set: ATK +18%
4-Piece Set: When Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger Valley Rite, which will increase Normal Attack DMG by 70% of ATK. This effect will be dispelled 0.05 seconds after a Normal Attack deals DMG. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of it triggering the next time will increase by 20%. This trigger can occur once every 0.2 seconds.

Hues of the Violet Garden
Inazuma is currently preparing for a grand event named the Magnificent Irodori Festival…
The Yashiro Commission and Yae Miko go hand-in-hand in preparing this festival in Inazuma. Travelers will not only get to meet tourists from all over Teyvat, but also see some familiar faces like Xingqiu and Klee!
This event will have four modes of missions, including an upgraded version of Theater Mechanicus.
Get a chance to add Xingqiu to your party in this event.
Spices From the West
A certain lady from Sumeru has come all this way to Liyue to conduct a certain brand of research.
Help this Sumeru national with her research by making seasonings and taste testing dishes, featuring an all-new minigame.

Vibro-Crystal Research
A researcher from Fontaine is presently on the outskirts of The Chasm, studying the harmonic motion between gems known as Vibro-Crystals. Connect Transmitter and Receiver Crystals and attempt to produce various effects that will allow you to defeat your foes with ease.
In this battle Domain-based event, the Transmitter and Receiver Crystals will provide your teams buffs to defeat enemies swiftly. Trial Characters will be available for this event.

Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens
A girl named Asagiri from Inazuma seems to be troubled by something…
Take pictures of sceneries in different nations to inspire Asagiri's paintings. There will be different requirements to meet in each photo, and if you like exploring Teyvat, this event is sure to be fun for you.

Ley Line Overflow
Ley Line Overflow will make a return in Genshin Impact Version 2.6. Unfortunately, no other details were shared, but we'll keep you posted!
System Optimization Updates
- The game's mobile version will now allow you to hold the character portrait to quickly bring up the Party Setup menu.
- The tutorial icon is now always displayed on the game interface for new players.
- Recently viewed tutorials can now be quickly viewed.
- The position of some buttons in the Archive have been changed.
Islands of the Lost and Forgotten
An all new batch of Original Soundtrack from Genshin Impact will be released along with Genshin Impact Version 2.6. Islands of the Lost and Forgotten is made up of three discs featuring tracks from Seirai Island, Watatsumi Island, Tsurumi Island, and Enkanomiya, along with some combat music.
