Nightingale is an upcoming first-person, PVE, open-world survival crafting game where players take on the role of Realmwalkers as they embark on adventures in fantasy worlds ruled by the fae. This is how you can join the Nightingale Open Beta ahead of its release date on February 22, 2024.
Months after the game's closed beta sessions, the developers at Inflexion Games are now confident with the product for a wider audience: they now need volunteers to test the servers of the game prior to launch. Thus, they are now opening the Open Beta session for Nightingale.
Players can easily opt in to the open beta server stress test by clicking the “Request Access” button on the Nightingale Steam store page. This will put players in queue for the test sessions, although admission is not guaranteed. When selected, there will supposedly be a Steam notification and an email informing the player of their admission into the server stress test.
A key note from the Nightingale team, though: If you previously completed a playtesting survey or received playtesting keys, they WILL NOT grant you access to the stress test. You must sign up for the Beta on our Steam page to ensure you’re eligible.
Nightingale's final open beta test will be commencing in January 2024, which Inflexion will use as an opportunity to make sure players will have a smooth launch experience when the game enters Early Access in February. Progress during the server stress test is also presumably not carried over to the Early Access version of the game.
This game is the debut project of Inflexion Games: a development studio consisting of former BioWare employees. If you're a big fan of old Dragon Age and Mass Effect games, then you might want to try this out – especially since the wait for Dragon Age Dreadwolf will still take years.
