During the Genshin Impact Version 2.5 Special Event Livestream, new enemies were revealed, including a new Weekly Boss. Do note that this will contain story spoilers, so make sure you're all caught up on the story before reading on.

New Weekly Boss – Raiden Shogun

The new Trounce Domain, or Weekly Boss as they're known by the player base, is called the Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto. Genshin Impact Version 2.5 seems to have us fight the Raiden Shogun equipped with mechanical arms. While the Narukami no Mikoto bears resemblance to Raiden Shogun, they are not the same as indicated by the in-game description of the Narukami no Mikoto:

This is the form that the puppet that inherited the Raiden Shogun's authority takes when she is opposing those who threaten Eternity.

As the Raiden Shogun's assistant in pursuing eternity, she has never doubted, never felt fear, never gave anything less than her best, never been disturbed by idle thoughts.

She once heard about how Ei had shouldered a similar duty when Makoto was also present, suffering much agonizing loss in the process.

When the two shadows overlapped once more, however, she could only see the countless fine fractures in what should have been “her” eternal will. Since fate is destined for cyclicality, she must fulfill her promise and declare war on “her”

Mine is the most supreme and noble form. Power over the realm has been vested within me, and I am the essence of all that is the “Raiden Shogun”

“Naturally, I have also inherited the pain of Ei's countless losses and her will to attain Eternity.”

“Resolve, valor, love, hate… They will all twist in the river of time.”

“But the ‘rules' will never change.”

As of the time of writing, only Yae Miko is confirmed to use the materials from this Weekly Boss.

New Mob – Shadowy Husks

Genshin Impact Version 2.5 will also introduce new enemies you can encounter beneath the waters in Enkanomiya.

The Shadow Husk family of enemies has three members: Standard Bearers, Line Breakers, and Defenders. Each wielding different weapons, elements, and abilities, these enigmatic warriors of darkness provide more challenge to those who dare explore Enkanomiya. The Standard Bearer was revealed to be able to shield itself and its allied Shadow Husks once it hits a shielded character.

New Enemy – Ruin Serpent

The Genshin Impact 2.5 Special Program also revealed some sneak peeks at The Chasm, the next area to be added in the future. During this reveal, a new Ruin enemy called the Ruin Serpent was seen. The Ruin Serpent is “a Ruin machine that looks like a giant serpent” and that it “has recently come alive for reasons unknown.”

“It slithers quietly in the shadows of the mine to pave a way to the known world for unknown dangers buried in the depths of The Chasm. Judging from its appearance and movement, it looks to be a digging machine of some sort.”
