On the court, LeBron James is seen as one of the most selfless players in the NBA and at times to a fault. In contrast, Russell Westbrook has been called selfish or a ball hog, holding back Kevin Durant and the Thunder from winning at times. But when you compare their regular season numbers it tells a completely different story.

Twitter account @NotBillWalton has created and tweeted this graphic comparing their regular season numbers.

Looking at them both you can see that in reality they are very similar when comparing points, assists, and rebounds per game, as well as player efficiency (PER). By the numbers, there should be no reason for Westbrook to be known as ball hog or as a selfish player.

But the good people of Reddit believe otherwise. The conversation about that tweet has been divisive, with half of the commenters defending Westbrook and completely agreeing with the tweet and the other half disagreeing, mostly bringing up his Western Conference Finals performance where the Thunder blew a 3-1 lead over the Warriors.

While the Reddit discussion doesn't always have numbers and valid points to back up arguments, it certainly brings up a lot of points to one side and the other.
