Ja Morant poured it all out on the court in Game 3 against the Golden State Warriors. The Memphis Grizzlies point guard was unable to finish the contest, exiting to the locker room before the final buzzer.
The Grizzlies star was seen limping off the playing court with a handful of minutes left in the fourth quarter:

Ja Morant finished with 34 points on 13-for-21 shooting to go along with seven assists and three steals. He was the only Grizzlies starter with a didn’t have a double-digit negative for his plus/minus on the evening at -6. Everyone else was -12 or worse.
But the Warriors were collectively shooting the lights out. Jordan Poole, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and even Andrew Wiggins were continuously torching the Grizzlies defense all evening as Golden State finished with an absurd 63.1% shooting clip and 53.1% from downtown. That ended up as an improvement after a 70% shooting display in the first half.
With the game out of hand late in the fourth quarter during Ja Morant’s exit, Memphis may just be playing it safe with their All-Star and reigning Most Improved Player. Hopefully the injury is minor enough so that it doesn’t force him to miss any time in what has been an electrifying second-round series.
