We all know the backstory between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors. These two teams have emerged as a budding rivalry in the Western Conference, and they are slated to go toe-to-toe again on Wednesday in a marquee matchup in the Bay Area. Ja Morant sat out the Grizzlies' last game due to an ankle injury, but fans will be pumped to hear about the latest update on his status for the Warriors clash.

Ja Morant injury status vs. Warriors

Morant was absent from the Grizzlies' injury report ahead of Wednesday's game. This means that Ja should be good to go against Stephen Curry and Co. The night off against the Sacramento Kings may have just been precautionary, and it now appears that the Grizzlies superstar has fully recovered from his sore left ankle.

Unfortunately for Memphis, Steven Adams has been ruled out with a sore right knee. John Konchar is also out after being placed under the NBA's concussion protocol, while Danny Green continues to be sidelined as he recovers from surgery on his left knee.

For their part, the Warriors seem to have already overcome the injury bug that recently had them troubled. Andre Iguodala is still out with a sore hip, but the good news is that James Wiseman has been upgraded to probable. No other player was listed on Golden State's injury report.

At 31-16, Ja Morant and the Grizzlies are still sitting at the second spot in the West. The Warriors, on the other hand, are all the way at 10th with a 23-24 record. However, you can be sure that standings will be set aside on Wednesday when these two teams leave it all on the floor.
