The Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers are going to share SoFi Stadium and they could be sharing the TV screen later this year. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Rams and Chargers will both be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks.

Prior to 2020, HBO has conducted 14 seasons of “Hard Knocks”, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at NFL training camps. Just last year, the Las Vegas Raiders were the team that HBO chose to be featured on their hit series.

Of course, due to the coronavirus, there is uncertainty about whether or not NFL training camps are going to start on time. But if there is progress made by July, then the NFL is fixated on having the Rams and Chargers represent the league. Surprisingly enough, it would be the first time that two teams are on “Hard Knocks”.

The NFL was hoping to make the announcement during the annual owner meeting last week. However, after canceling the meeting, the league hasn't discussed when they will make it official.

The Rams are familiar with doing the show, having done it in 2016, with Jeff Fisher as their head coach. On the other hand, the Chargers would be making their first appearance on “Hard Knocks” this summer.

As for SoFi Stadium, there's a chance that it isn't completed before the start of the 2020 season. Therefore, the Rams and Chargers could have to wait until 2021 to unveil their new stadium. While both Los Angeles squads are unsure of when they'll open SoFi Stadium, they'll share screen time on “Hard Knocks”, given training camps begin on time.
