If you ever have the privilege of speaking to Harrison Ford, do not ask him who would win in a fight between two of his iconic characters, Indiana Jones and Han Solo.

While speaking to Esquire for their latest profile, Ford stated that he respects the process of journalism, but doesn't share that same respect for himself when he's doing press. He cites one reason being that he has to talk about “things that are just dumb for me to talk about” and that will “make it [the movie] less interesting to go see my new movie. Out new movie — Jim's [James Mangold] new movie, Phoebe Waller-Bridge's new movie, Mad's [Mads Mikkelsen] new movie, Disney's new movie,” Ford revealed.

He continued talking about how some fans still call him Han Solo or Indiana Jones and revealed a question that multiple Star Wars superfans ask him. “Well, they usually ask me, ‘If there was a fight between Han Solo and Indiana Jones, who would f**kin' win?' And I say [voice rising, fingers drumming], ‘Me, asshole! I don't want to make s**t up like that. I mean, what are you asking me that crap for?” Ford said.

For what it's worth, it does seem like a silly question since Han Solo carries a blaster that would do far more damage with one hit than Indiana Jones' whip and pistol. But given that Ford doesn't have a “f**king idea” what a Force ghost is, it seems useless to ask questions like this to him.

Harrison Ford is currently promoting his final adventure as Indiana Jones in The Dial of Destiny. The film pits its titular character against Nazis again with the Space Race looming in the background. Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Antonio Banderas, and John Rhys-Davies from the original trilogy star in the film.
