The Charlotte Hornets fell to the Toronto Raptors in their Monday night matchup. Along with the loss, Gordon Hayward suffered a serious injury in a collision with Gary Trent Jr. in the first quarter and did not return to the court.

Hayward is out indefinitely with sprained ligaments in his left ankle, just one day before the 2022 NBA trade deadline.

Hayward's wife Robyn took to social media to express her emotions after seeing the collision. A Raptors fan tweeted a video of her Instagram story Tuesday afternoon.

“I was so mad last night. I'm still really frustrated,” Robyn said. She then referred to Trent, accusing him of trying to flop. “That guy that fell on him was trying to flop, and I don't think players should be able to flop.”

This is Hayward's 12th season in the NBA and his second season with the Hornets. According to his wife, the referees are also to blame for the incident.

“The refs never ever call fouls for Gordon, and I have my opinions on why.”

While she didn't get into those details, she did follow up her post with another Instagram Story, tweeted by the same Raptors fan.

She again mentioned her stance on GTJ's flop, saying “a lot of players go up for a layup and then fall, hoping to just get called for a foul. It's not necessary.”

However, she acknowledged that it was not intentional, and she did see Trent check on Hayward afterward.
